OOTD - Cherry Blossom In The Wind

Happy June everyone! Where is the year going?! Can't believe it's already June!

The other weekend in Aberdeen was an extra hot day, 18 degrees! That's practically tropical in the north of Scotland! I had to take full advantage of the gorgeous weather while it lasted. Cherry blossom is my favourite tree (who doesn't love pink petals blowing in the wind?) so when I stumbled upon this dress from Black Milk Clothing last year I knew I had to have it. I loved it so much that my lovely boyfriend bought me the black one too. This is the perfect Spring dress, it's light weight, can be worn dressed up or dressed down and you can wear it both scoop front or reversible front because what's life without choices?

Recently I've taken to wearing white Converse when I know I'll be walking a lot. Ballet pumps are cute but are also so sore to wear all day walking. I think converse add a casual and relaxed look to any outfit. I'm thinking about getting these in the colour beach glass (how cute is that name?) to add a pop of colour to my outfits.

Outfit Details:

Jacket: Primark (old, similar on ASOS)
Shoes: Converse
Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Mint Madness

Mint has been a popular colour trend for the past couple of years and always springs back around this time of year. I have been loving this trend a lot lately. Here are my top mint picks.

I think my obsession with mint started when I discovered the mint Fiat 500. I have recently passed my driving test (yaaaay) and I'm look at getting a car, this one is definitely top of my list, if I actually get it is another story, why must insurance by so expensive? *crying emoji*

I've been wanting a watch for a long time now but I'm not sure what to go for as big faces look silly on my wrists. I don't think this one looks too big and I love the seahorse.

Bounce balls are so tasty and a good energy hit after a work out.

I'm not one to usually go for colourful shoes like these Converse but I think they'd be perfect for Summer.

Another *crying emoji* moment. Last night I went to buy this gorgeous mint mojito bag from Kate Spade in the sale after seeing it online during my lunch break. But when I went to buy it the bag was sold out! :( I bought the pink one instead though so I don't feel quite as bad!

You can never go wrong with a gorgeous piece of Tiffany jewellery like this bracelet.

I'm always on the hunt for pretty unusual kitchen bits. Love this Oliver Bonas bowl.

I'm a bit last to the trend of Essie - Mint Candy Apple as this came out a few Summers ago. I was just never sure on this colour for nails,

Lastly I couldn't finish this mint post without mentioning mint ice cream - one of my favourite flavours!

What trend are you loving at the moment?

Disney Converse

How awesome are these shoe?!

These are from Starcrossed Designs on Facebook. The girl hand paints all designs onto either Converse or Dr Martins; I chose Converse as they are more my style. The next step was choosing what I wanted painted on my shoes - this was not difficult for me! I knew I wanted something Disney and as Rapunzel is my favourite princess it seemed like a no brainier.

The lantern boat scene is so beautiful I picked this to go on one shoe. the second shoe I wasn't so sure what I wanted. I wanted Pascal and Maximus incorporated in the design but wasn't sure how so messaged the girl and she helped me come up with something. I am really happy with how they turned out!

You can add if you want glittery toes, I obviously chose this because I love anything sparkly! Sparkly laces is also and option - the plain white laces were sent with the shoes so they can be changed.

The shoes did take some time to arrive! I was quoted about 6 weeks but they took 10 weeks to arrive (I received them Christmas Eve). It was around Christmas so I imagine she was very busy around this time (just something to bear in mind if you wanted to get them as a gift for someone).

Overall I had a great experience with Starcrossed Designs and I really love my shoes. I am yet to wear them as it's a bit cold and it's been really wet but I think they'll be great for when the Spring time arrives.

Lots of Love,
